Purpose of Role:

Reporting to the CO Manager in of the Commercial Operations team, he will carry out most of his activities during the offer drafting phase, working in close collaboration with the Application Engineer, acting as the main customer reference.

To coordinate all the activities that lead to overcoming the various phases of the customer order assignment process, satisfying the technical and information requirements of the different phases of the process, configuring the individual machines according to the needs expressed by the customer.

To define the cost of the different elements that make up the required configuration and provide Sales with all the elements supporting the final negotiation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Customer Material Requisition Analysis (received from Sales structure)
  • Selection of the individual items present in the customer's Material Re-acquisition, using the Intelliquip software selection form
  • Interaction with the "R&D" department for the definition / correction of selected curves for the items object of the customer MR.
  • Management of technical customer questions (Technical Queries or "Clarifications") in collaboration with AE
  • Support to the AE in the technical alignment phase of engineered supplies (seals and systems, drivers, control units, multipliers, recirculation valves)
  • Support for AE for TBE compilation (technical clarification tables).
  • Support for AE for the preparation and drafting of the comments / deviations list
  • Analysis of supplier offers on subcontracts engineered by definition of costs to be quoted in Intelliquip (it uses the support of the AEs).
  • Participation in technical alignment meeting / call, with possible presence at customer site.
  • Selection and enhancement of the configuration options present in Intelliquip, for the complete definition of the cost of the offer items.
  • Quotation of the offer costs relevant to the total offer (not defined at the individual item level).
  • Preparation of the "offer package", including the relative attachments.
  • Transfer to Intelliquip of the final negotiation output with the customer carried out by Sales.
  • Intelliquip generation of the ".xml" file for job creation in SAP.
  • Checking the purpose of supplying PO received by the customer (and related attachments), with the latest offer issued.
  • In collaboration with the PM, compiling summary table of the item on offer for planning network configuration purpose.
  • Participation in the Kick Off Meeting (KOM) internal order launch.
  • Update of the KPIs of the Com Ops team with progress data quotation process.

 

Education and Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree preferably in Mechanical engineering, at least three years experience in a similar role gained within an international context, excellent communication skills. Able to work independently with strong determination to achieve the goals and strong organizational skills, strong analytical and negotiating skills, strong customerfocus; pro-activity and autonomy. Knowledge of computer tools. Availability and willingness to travel.Excellent knowledge of English language

The Firmware Engineer is responsible for providing overall low-level software systems design & architecture across complex electro-mechanical systems with embedded firmware and connectivity for Automated Endoscope Reprocessors (AER), Drying Cabinets, Storage and other IP&C equipment in Cantel medical devices segments.
As a Firmware Engineer, you will be working with a motivated, diverse, and knowledgeable development team to deliver world-class products.


  • Provide technical input for Firmware Architecture, Firmware Design, Hardware interface and Connectivity solutions for medical device software.
  • Provide technical input on Electrical design as it pertains to the performance of the software/firmware running on the electronics and the communication interfaces involved.
  • Define Requirements and Design specifications in collaboration with upstream Marketing, Service, Quality and Regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical input in Endoscope reprocessing technologies and Trace and Track systems, in accordance with IEC and AAMI standards.
  • Create Architectural Design for developing software in C#, C, C++, ASP.NET MVC, WPF & XAML, Entity Framework, with MS SQL Server interface.
  • Provide input into platform software definition with microcontrollers, WiFi, Bluetooth and RFID technologies.
  • Create Architectural Designs and prototype models for Proof of Concept and feasibility.
  • Execute on meeting deliverables in accordance with New Product Development Phase Gate process.
  • Coordination of Qualification Protocols and Test execution across all aspects of Firmware and Software, including over Systems Validation, to ensure that the product meets requirements.
  • Create and document all aspects of the software engineering processes for products, incorporating the highest quality standards in accordance with the QMS, cost effectiveness, and measurable efficiency.
  • Provide technical support for software deployment at Beta sites and work closely with Technical services group for troubleshooting and making enhancements.
  • Provide input in the development & testing of prototypes, verification/validation units and product specifications, including test development plans, test reports and input to risk analysis.
  • Perform the execution of software test plans, assess device limitations and determine acceptance criteria.
  • Manage and implement new features, bug fixes, and support other sustaining activities for current commercialized products.

  • BS in Engineering or Computer Science and 3+ years related experience in software development in a Windows and embedded microcontroller environment. Preferred MS in
  • Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Experience in Medical Device lifecycle development processes, or similar safety-critical regulated environment.
  • Familiar with Design Controls, AAMI and ISO standards.
  • Experience designing with some combination of the following technologies - C#, C, C++, .NET MVC, WPF & XAML, Entity Framework & SQL Server.
  • Understanding of project management principles to effectively complete assignments and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field of Medical Electrical Equipment including tools and methodologies for software design and development, configuration management, project scheduling, problem resolution for the complete software development cycle.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
  • Ability to work successfully both independently and in a team environment.
