Trillium Pumps Italy - Gabbioneta Pumps® is looking for a Cost Controller.

 

Purpose of Role:

Prepare cost accounting records such as subcontracting, field service, sales costs, and research and development costs. Computes project costs, compares actual costs to estimates and analyze variances.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • To produce company business plan and budget by performing the following activities:

        gathers budget's relevant information from Departments

        elaborates data and ask clarifications

        consolidates data and submits results to Finance Control

  • to prepare forecasting documentation by performing the following activities:

        analyzes up-to-date data with Accounting Department contribution

        revises budget's year end results on the bases of actual data

        submits results to Finance Control

  • to produce the projects' cost structure by collecting relevant information from other departments and inserting inputs such as tendering data; revises project cost and make cost adjustments; performs variance analysis;
  • to collaborate with other departments to evaluate capex pre and post purchase (payback period, NPV);
  • to prepare monthly consolidated reporting for input, output, margins and internal profitability;
  • to analyze inventory level by receiving inputs from the Warehouse Department and assess inventory level, inventory evaluation, inventory differences etc;
  • to interface with local management and international peers;
  • to collaborate with the Plant Controller and Information System manager in developing new or enhancing existing systems and procedures, and therefore to understand the local conditions;
  • to ensure processes are in place that comply fully with applicable laws (IFRS) and Trillium policies;
  • to manage a team of people

 

Education and Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree in Business Administration with major in Finance or Accounting.

Thorough experience in Administration 5 years in the Planning & Control Functions of dynamic and highly structured Companies. Familiarity with multinational Company is preferred. Knowledge of IFRS principles and experience in understanding logics to prepare monthly trial balance. Familiarity with projects accounting and cost control is required. Thorough experience with SAP CO and preferably also PS module. Expertise of national and international accountancy principles. Excellent Computer skills.

Advanced English proficiency, both verbal and written is a must.

About the SAP College Program:
SAP College Program, promoted by SAP Services and Support, provides young university students and graduates with the opportunity to find purpose in their careers covering the future role of business process or technology consultant.
The 12 month of training program with a fixed-term contract, provides candidates with class training regarding SAP company strategy and organization, SAP solutions, soft skills and shadowing activities combined with on-the-job training and mentoring in the field.

In this role, you’ll:
- Attend virtual classes, with a first common training for both roles of Business Process Associate and Technology Associate
- Attend virtual classes regarding soft skills, individual coaching, teamwork and communication
- In addition to general training on SAP's strategy, there will be 3 alternative specialization courses:
Customer Experience: Trusted Relationship, Sales and Distribution, Marketing & Customer Journey & Customer Data Platform
Digital Supply Chain: Digital Manufacturing, Industrial Internet of Things, Enterprise Asset Management, Predictive Engineering Insights
Technology: Intelligent Technologies (Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation, Blockchain, Internet of things), Database and Data Management, Analytics, Apps Development & Integration.
Education & Skills:
+ Candidates must be graduates or about to graduate with a master's degree by May 2021 (Engineering, Business Economics, Computer Science, Physics and Mathematics) and not be out-of-course student.
+ Candidates must obtain degree score of not less than 98/110 or equivalent for graduates, in case you are still proceeding the studies the score should be not less than 25/30.
+ Excellent English knowledge, both spoken and written (B2 level is the minimum)
+ Excellent Italian knowledge, both spoken and written (B2 level is the minimum)
+ We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, stay curious, can identify new possibilities and propose an innovative approach to find solutions, is analytical and problem-solving oriented and has basic understanding of industry and/or specific business processes
+ Following knowledge is considered as advantage for Technical Consultant profile:

Trillium Pumps Italy - Gabbioneta Pumps® is looking for a Cost Controller.

 

Purpose of Role:

Prepare cost accounting records such as subcontracting, field service, sales costs, and research and development costs. Computes project costs, compares actual costs to estimates and analyze variances.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • To produce company business plan and budget by performing the following activities:

        gathers budget's relevant information from Departments

        elaborates data and ask clarifications

        consolidates data and submits results to Finance Control

  • to prepare forecasting documentation by performing the following activities:

        analyzes up-to-date data with Accounting Department contribution

        revises budget's year end results on the bases of actual data

        submits results to Finance Control

  • to produce the projects' cost structure by collecting relevant information from other departments and inserting inputs such as tendering data; revises project cost and make cost adjustments; performs variance analysis;
  • to collaborate with other departments to evaluate capex pre and post purchase (payback period, NPV);
  • to prepare monthly consolidated reporting for input, output, margins and internal profitability;
  • to analyze inventory level by receiving inputs from the Warehouse Department and assess inventory level, inventory evaluation, inventory differences etc;
  • to interface with local management and international peers;
  • to collaborate with the Plant Controller and Information System manager in developing new or enhancing existing systems and procedures, and therefore to understand the local conditions;
  • to ensure processes are in place that comply fully with applicable laws (IFRS) and Trillium policies;
  • to manage a team of people

 

Education and Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree in Business Administration with major in Finance or Accounting.

Thorough experience in Administration 5 years in the Planning & Control Functions of dynamic and highly structured Companies. Familiarity with multinational Company is preferred. Knowledge of IFRS principles and experience in understanding logics to prepare monthly trial balance. Familiarity with projects accounting and cost control is required. Thorough experience with SAP CO and preferably also PS module. Expertise of national and international accountancy principles. Excellent Computer skills.

Advanced English proficiency, both verbal and written is a must.

Trillium Pumps Italy - Gabbioneta Pumps™  based in Nova Milanese – Monza e Brianza area -  with around 260 employees, established in 1897 and acquired by Trillium Flow Technologies in 2019, manufactures API 610 specialty pumps primarily for the downstream application in the oil and gas market. The company has a wide range of customers including oil majors and leading engineering contractors and is ranked number three in the European, Middle East and African petrochemical pump market where it has a significant installed base.
