This is a high profile and high visibility lead lawyer role, and will serve as the Align’s first legal counsel in Italy, providing advice to the commercial and functional leaders on a wide variety of commercial legal, regulatory and compliance matters as they arise from the day-to-day operations of a public global company, operating in a highly regulated sector and poised for significant growth.
The role is based in Milano, Italy and will report to the Legal Director EMEA located in EMEA HQ in Rotkreuz, Switzerland.
In this role, you will…
Interface with all disciplines and departments within Align supporting Italy, including but not be limited to, commercial, corporate, regulatory, competition, and compliance support.
Contribute to Align’s success by supporting all aspects of operations including review of marketing and sales programs, contract drafting and review, compliance programs and general legal support and advice; the role will primarily focus on Italy but additional cross-regional responsibilities may be considered (e.g. represent the region in one of Align Global Center of Excellence)
Lead responsibility for all sales, marketing, distribution, compliance and customer-facing legal matters / need for legal support in Italy.
Provide high quality legal and strategic advice and day-to-day support the business
Have a competent understanding and hands-on experience with regards to healthcare professional transparency in Italy
Anticipate and address critical legal, business and ethical issues.
Work closely with the Legal Director EMEA and other members of the EMEA Legal Department.
Advise and keep the Legal Director EMEA updated on business management of critical projects in a timely manner and assist in reviewing all matters relating to compliance and financial reporting as appropriate.
Work closely with the HR Department on general employment issues or other issues common to HR and Legal.
Plan and deliver risk-based training programs including interactions with HCPs, competition law, etc.
Effectively establish and manage relationships with in Italy and other Align’s external counsels.

SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Field Service Technician will be executing in-house repairs, maintenance at customerrsquo;s sites; start up, diagnostic, on call service and preparation before site installation of system gas analyzer (CO,Co2,O2,gascromatograph,etc) and system liquid analyzer (ph., Conductivity, chlorine, etc.)
The Field Service engineer is responsible for executing the scheduled work according to the Emerson standards of safety and quality.
