MARKETING PROGRAM MANAGER – GENOMICS & PATHOLOGY

The Italy and Spain Diagnostics & Genomics Group (DGG) Marketing Program Manager (MPM) plans, designs and executes all marketing activities for the Agilent Pathology Solution Division and deploys the Genomics campaigns when a local approach is needed in the Italy and Spain region. Its objective is to generate demand to support profitable sales and growth within the region and govern all outbound aspects of new product launches and manage the portfolio-mix. In particular he/she will be responsible of developing and execute marketing strategy for the Agilent Pathology business in Italy and Spain by assuming overall responsibility for the implementation of marketing programs and activities.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Providing feedback and implementing global programs, developing and executing regional plans
  • Measurement and evaluation of marketing programs. Implementation of corrective actions to ensure delivery of targeted results & objectives
  • Developing, deploying and measuring promotions to stimulate sales and managing regional budget
  • Works collaboratively with all channels including field sales and distributors and lead all CRM related aspects of sales & marketing integration (CRM and reporting)
  • Conduct commercial training for new product introductions and enhance region competency, leveraging expertise from Product Marketing, Applications and other departments as required
  • Assist in defining target customers to secure sales efforts are spent wisely
  • Drive regional opinion leader programs and visit key pathology accounts
  • Plan and organize local pathology activities and events
  • Manage the product portfolio and provide market feedback and develop relationship with key opinion leaders. This includes: Works with the sales channel to monitor economic and competitive trends for the assigned markets and products and makes recommendations to Solutions Units regarding pricing, customer needs for specific platforms, applications, services, and solutions based on customer and field input / Develops and maintains relationships with key influencers and organizations
  • Deploys locally Genomics campaign tactics and executes on local clinical Genomics marketing and Aligns tactics with regional sales manager and ensures feedback to Genomics division and the EMEAI Genomics.

REQUISITION:
  • At least 3-5-year experience in sales and/or marketing 
  • Intimate knowledge of the Pathology, molecular pathology and/or Clinical market, especially in the Italy and Spain. 
  • Good understanding of the Genomics market, NGS & microarray products and their applications – especially within Cancer and Human Genetics
  • Excellent communication skills in Italy and fluency in English, Spanish would be a plus
  • Must have a proven ability to plan and execute; to think strategically and translate to tactics
  • Ability to deal with high pressure and ability to work across a matrixed and global organization 
  • Demonstrated skills in teamwork, results-orientation and strong persistence to reach goals
  • Ability to travel locally and internationally ~ 35% of the time
  • University education in Pathology / molecular biology/biochemistry, biology or comparable, MSc. or Ph.D. preferable

WORK PLACE: Based in Italy, near Milan Agilent Office or close to a hub-airport is advantageous

Mission:

 

The Head of Offer Management, reporting to IA Marketing Director, develops and implements strategic marketing plans and activities for Industrial Automaton department, ensuring the performance and competitiveness of our offer.

This role will liaise with country BUs, functions, IA Sales Organization, LOBs, and Global Marketing teams. He/She will bring the Industrial Automation offers to the market, defining the value proposition as needed, monitoring the success of the offers and the marketing plan and identifying necessary actions/recovery plan in case of poor performances.   

He/She will be responsible for coaching, developing and upskilling the Offer Management Team in the new market scenario.

He/She works closely with the country BUs on the customer platforming to maximize IA opportunities.

 

 

 

What will you do?

 

  • Understand the IA offer strategy with the BU and the MKTG Director, adapting it locally and ensuring each Offer Manger will master and apply it.
  • Deploy the offer roadmap per BU then per market segment with business potentialities
  • Coordinate all the IA offer launch plans delegated to the appropriate reference Offer Managers
  • Define in collaboration with all Businesses the IA Offers value proposition
  • Articulate the consistency of all IA offers all along the life cycles stages
  • Launch any new offer, monitoring success and revenue growth across BUs
  • Implement corporate communication tools and monitor the effectiveness
  • Organize Voice of Customers to provide feedback to the LOBs and improve local offer positioning
  • Perform competitive analysis and identify strengths and weaknesses, monitoring the market feedbacks
  • Manage IA offer pricing based on historical data / margin expectations. For this, he/she will rely on competition data and value base pricing
  • Animate the sales network by transferring and multiply offer knowledge and its compliance with the market
  • Monitor all the necessary elements to support completely the offer management performance (quality, logistics, training) in order to ensure the best Customer Experience

Qualifications

SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER

which will be involved in the following tasks.

Main Responsibilities

The resource will be responsible for developing and checking of process documents for main process units of the plant. Moreover, the resource will be also involved in the following activities:

  • Development of concept design, feasibility studies and typical documentation of project engineering phases (Basic Design, FEED and Detail Design):
  • Process schemes such as PFDs, UFDs, P&IDs;
  • Heat and Material (H&M) Balances;
  • Lists of equipment, lines, fluids, instruments, etc.;
  • Issue of process and safety data sheets (Process Data Sheets) for both equipment and instrumentation;
  • Calculation report of process system and utilities;
  • Process safety design, Cause/Effect matrices, logic diagrams, process narratives, operational philosophies, operating Manuals;
  • Surge analysis for all identified systems and recommendation of all necessary protection measures;
  • Hydraulic sizing of the lines and main process equipment;
  • Process simulations, using specific software.

Minimum Requirements

The ideal candidate presents the following characteristics:

  • Mandatory: Resident in Italy or available to move in Italy.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Chemical (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering (Note: a significant previous experience in the process engineering area could compensate for the lack of Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree).
  • Work experience: at least 7 years gained in engineering Companies in the process area.
  • Knowledge of International Design Company workflow & Engineering International Codes and Standards.
  • Experience in process design & engineering, mastery of process engineering calculations, process simulation packages (such as HYSYS, ProII).
  • Experience in thermodynamic calculations, design, rating, and simulation of heat exchangers, also by dedicated software (HTRI, Aspen EDR).
  • Proficiency in English (ideal level C1 of CEFR).

MARKETING PROGRAM MANAGER – GENOMICS & PATHOLOGY

The Italy and Spain Diagnostics & Genomics Group (DGG) Marketing Program Manager (MPM) plans, designs and executes all marketing activities for the Agilent Pathology Solution Division and deploys the Genomics campaigns when a local approach is needed in the Italy and Spain region. Its objective is to generate demand to support profitable sales and growth within the region and govern all outbound aspects of new product launches and manage the portfolio-mix. In particular he/she will be responsible of developing and execute marketing strategy for the Agilent Pathology business in Italy and Spain by assuming overall responsibility for the implementation of marketing programs and activities.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Providing feedback and implementing global programs, developing and executing regional plans
  • Measurement and evaluation of marketing programs. Implementation of corrective actions to ensure delivery of targeted results & objectives
  • Developing, deploying and measuring promotions to stimulate sales and managing regional budget
  • Works collaboratively with all channels including field sales and distributors and lead all CRM related aspects of sales & marketing integration (CRM and reporting)
  • Conduct commercial training for new product introductions and enhance region competency, leveraging expertise from Product Marketing, Applications and other departments as required
  • Assist in defining target customers to secure sales efforts are spent wisely
  • Drive regional opinion leader programs and visit key pathology accounts
  • Plan and organize local pathology activities and events
  • Manage the product portfolio and provide market feedback and develop relationship with key opinion leaders. This includes: Works with the sales channel to monitor economic and competitive trends for the assigned markets and products and makes recommendations to Solutions Units regarding pricing, customer needs for specific platforms, applications, services, and solutions based on customer and field input / Develops and maintains relationships with key influencers and organizations
  • Deploys locally Genomics campaign tactics and executes on local clinical Genomics marketing and Aligns tactics with regional sales manager and ensures feedback to Genomics division and the EMEAI Genomics.
 
REQUISITION:
 
  • At least 3-5-year experience in sales and/or marketing 
  • Intimate knowledge of the Pathology, molecular pathology and/or Clinical market, especially in the Italy and Spain. 
  • Good understanding of the Genomics market, NGS & microarray products and their applications – especially within Cancer and Human Genetics
  • Excellent communication skills in Italy and fluency in English, Spanish would be a plus
  • Must have a proven ability to plan and execute; to think strategically and translate to tactics
  • Ability to deal with high pressure and ability to work across a matrixed and global organization 
  • Demonstrated skills in teamwork, results-orientation and strong persistence to reach goals
  • Ability to travel locally and internationally ~ 35% of the time
  • University education in Pathology / molecular biology/biochemistry, biology or comparable, MSc. or Ph.D. preferable
 

WORK PLACE: Based in Italy, near Milan Agilent Office or close to a hub-airport is advantageous
