PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The focus of the Automation Engineer (CSS) role is to fault find, troubleshoot and improve controls solutions for automated material handling equipment such as conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, scales, HMI systems, and control cabinets. The CSS will also provide training to the Engineering Technicians on device troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Be the site level Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all controls systems and sensors within the building. Work in a hands on manner to actively monitor, fault find and repair systems in order to provide a high level of equipment availability to internal customers.
  • Train technicians in the basics of control systems fault finding in order to raise the level of knowledge within the site.
  • Work within the EU Controls network to enhance the capability to monitor MHE metrics and provide visualization and data to internal customers.
  • Actively participate in or own continuous improvement projects driven by the EU Automation network.
  • Work with IT, EU Automation Engineering and Operations Engineering to ensure all systems are correctly documented and that accurate backup libraries are maintained.
  • Work alongside global teams to support the installation and commission of new equipment.
  • Support other sites in the EU network as required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years experience with PLC controlled automation and issue diagnosis in a continuous process or production environment.
  • Good ability to communicate (written & verbal) in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.
  • You already possess a Bachelor's degree, or you’re on track for obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in less than one year
  • Experience supporting a wide range of different conveyors and sortation systems.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot under high pressure.
  • Ability to follow, understand and develop improvement strategies for code conforming to IEC 61131-3
  • Ability to interpret both mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Experience in dealing with material handling, flow and capacity visualization and monitoring.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, Ignition, Visio and AutoCAD.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Reliability Engineering Maintenance Planner is responsible for asset and spares management, preventative maintenance planning and machine history data. They are the site lead for the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software and are required to extract information from it to support the decision making of the site engineering manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Be the site level Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software, train the local engineering team in its use and escalate issues as required to the EU team.
  • Ensure the system is run in line with EU standards and participate in EU led projects and improvement programmes to roll out new functionality, procedures, scheduling or reports.
  • Ensure site level equipment, spare parts and minimum holding levels are correctly recorded in the system in order to ensure technicians are never without the parts they need.
  • Ensure the system accurately forecasts and assigned all required preventative maintenance to technicians within the team to provide a high level of equipment availability to our internal customers.
  • Compile equipment information, performance metrics and machine histories and make recommendations for improvements based on their findings.
  • Manage spare parts stock levels, place and track orders as required. Work with procurement and the wider EU network to find savings or efficiencies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years experience planning, scheduling and auditing maintenance activities either as a hands on engineer or as a maintenance planner.
  • Experience with CMMS software.
  • Experience in using the core functions of MS Excel.
  • Experience managing stores or spare parts inventories.
  • Ability to communicate (written & verbal) in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.

Purpose of Role:

Reporting to the CO Manager in of the Commercial Operations team, he will carry out most of his activities during the offer drafting phase, working in close collaboration with the Application Engineer, acting as the main customer reference.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Customer Material Requisition Analysis (received from Sales structure)
  • Selection of the individual items present in the customer's Material Re-acquisition, using the Intelliquip software selection form
  • Interaction with the "R&D" department for the definition / correction of selected curves for the items object of the customer MR.
  • Management of technical customer questions (Technical Queries or "Clarifications") in collaboration with AE
  • Support to the AE in the technical alignment phase of engineered supplies (seals and systems, drivers, control units, multipliers, recirculation valves)
  • Support for AE for TBE compilation (technical clarification tables).
  • Support for AE for the preparation and drafting of the comments / deviations list
  • Analysis of supplier offers on subcontracts engineered by definition of costs to be quoted in Intelliquip (it uses the support of the AEs).
  • Participation in technical alignment meeting / call, with possible presence at customer site.
  • Selection and enhancement of the configuration options present in Intelliquip, for the complete definition of the cost of the offer items.
  • Quotation of the offer costs relevant to the total offer (not defined at the individual item level).
  • Preparation of the "offer package", including the relative attachments.
  • Transfer to Intelliquip of the final negotiation output with the customer carried out by Sales.
  • Intelliquip generation of the ".xml" file for job creation in SAP.
  • Checking the purpose of supplying PO received by the customer (and related attachments), with the latest offer issued.
  • In collaboration with the PM, compiling summary table of the item on offer for planning network configuration purpose.
  • Participation in the Kick Off Meeting (KOM) internal order launch.
  • Update of the KPIs of the Com Ops team with progress data quotation process.

 

Education and Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree preferably in Mechanical engineering, at least three years experience in a similar role gained within an international context, excellent communication skills. Il candidato ideale è in possesso dei seguenti requisiti:

- Competenze tecniche in ambito meccanico, pneumatico, oleodinamico

- Orientamento al cliente e attitudine al problem solving

- Disponibilità a brevi trasferte e a operare, quando necessario, nei week end

- Buona conoscenza della lingua inglese

- Gradita la provenienza dal settore delle macchine utensili

Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to support development of projects for the Milan Office. Project Engineer shall be inserted in the Environmental & Infrastructure group, dealing with various types of projects (Environment & Remediation, Infrastructure, Water & Waste Water Treatment, etc.) varying from feasibility studies to Front End Engineering Design and larger Engineering, Procurement and Construction projects, including consultancy services.

Project Engineer will be flexible and will demonstrate dynamic approach to his assigned tasks as well as contribute and participate to work in an enthusiastic manner; Project Engineer will be available to work both in Home Office as well as at projects sites.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Preparation of engineering deliverables (such as Equipment List, EFDs mechanization, Line List, Tie - in List
  • Preparation of Material Requisitions for packages and special items
  • Prepare Erection requisitions for mechanical works
  • Preparation of Hazardous Area Classification drawings and reports
  • Updating of Project Schedules
  • Preparing of Project Progress Reports
  • Assist Senior PE in technical coordination of projects
  • Coordinate disciplines activities, control and forecast work area activities and deliverables against schedule
  • Work in coordination with procurement and subcontracting group as well as estimate department
  • Organize, contribute and prepare notes of multidiscipline meetings to affect the timely completion of the engineering documents and requisitions
  • Working to the requirements of quality and environmental management systems maintained to ISO standards

Skills / Qualifications

  • Master Degree in industrial engineering (preferred Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering)
  • 2 / 3 years of experience in the role in engineering companies (experience in environmental and waste water treatment sectors is appreciated)
  • Ability to deal with other technical disciplines
  • Ability to work with technical strength but with the minimum supervision
  • Availability to travel for short and long term assignments at sites different from main office
  • Fluent in English
  • Mother tongue / fluent in Italian
  • Eligible to work in Italy
  • Optimum knowledge in the use of standard software tools (Office)
  • Good relationship attitude
  • Proactive outlook, self - motivated and with good communication skills

RESPONSABILITA’
Garantisce la gestione operativa di tutte le attività e i processi relativi alla gestione dei
rapporti di lavoro in particolare curando le comunicazioni con gli enti istituzionali, la
gestione dei fondi di previdenza, l’aggiornamento di HR Portal rispettando le scadenze
amministrative.
Supporta i clienti dello Studio relativamente a tematiche inerenti all’amministrazione del
personale.
E’ responsabile di coordinarsi con i diversi team presenti in Studio composti da
professionalità omogenee assicurando la costante correttezza della gestione delle attività
amministrative rispettando tempi e scadenze.

ATTIVITA’
Il ruolo svolge le seguenti principali attività:
  • Gestione amministrativa e operativa dei principali adempimenti con Enti e Istituti(INPS, INAIL, AdE ecc)
  • Gestione dei clienti in autonomia per le problematiche del day by day
  • Consulenza amministrativa e operativa ordinaria coordinandosi con i team presentiin Studio
  • Gestione e aggiornamento di HR portal
FORMAZIONE E CAPACITA’ TECNICHE
  • Diploma ad indirizzo amministrativo
  • Esperienza consolidata in ruolo analogo, di almeno 3 anni, maturata presso Societàdi Consulenza e/o Studi Professionali e/o acquisita nell’ambito di Payroll operativo e
  • Amministrazione del personale all’interno di azienda consolidata e strutturata, modernamente organizzata
  • Buona conoscenza della lingua inglese (gradita certificazione)
  • Ottima conoscenza WS Office e posta elettronica
  • Conoscenza gestionali Zucchetti, programmi di gestione Risorse Umane, Siti Istituzionali
