A brief overview of what you will be doing here
We are looking for a QA engineer to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be ensuring that product releases meet functional and business requirements. You will be reporting all deviations from expected behavior by opening defects and ensuring they are resolved before product releases are made generally available. You will be responsible for writing test plans and executing test cases. You should have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills and passionate about quality. You will be working closely with the engineering manager to help improve and fine tune our testing strategy & methodology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, isolate, and track defects throughout testing
- Review and analyze system specifications
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases . Implement test automation
- Ensure products meet customer expectations and demand
- Ensure products meet performance & reliability targets
- Create reports documenting errors and issues for fixing
- Work closely with the development team to cover their sprint regression testing
- Participating in daily calls and report on the progress of the testing to the team
- Works closely with the engineering manager to keep on improving and fine tuning the testing strategy
You should join us if you have
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in testing data driven software application in an agile environment
- Understanding of web application architecture and concepts
- Ability to communicate effectively and actively participate in calls with the development team to understand requirements
- Strong analytical skills
Where will you work?
This is a remote position. This means you can work from anywhere. Anywhere! Our only preference is that you are based in a country close to GMT+2 as that's where our Head of Technology is.
