Multinational Company, leader in his Industrial business, is looking for

International Commodity Buyer Manager

who will be responsible for development and execution of best-in-class commodity strategies as well as the financial performance of these commodities.

Main Accountabilities:

-To develop and execute Sourcing Strategy by driving the implementation of related procurement processes and activities for each Products Division
-To lead and assure the development and execution of Sourcing Strategy Development program for each commodities
-To develop and define LTA, to assure the achievements of identified SSD benefits
-To define proper cost for all assigned commodities
-To support Global Sourcing Strategy Development
-To drive and monitor cost and quality activities improvements
-To drive Industrial Supply Base Assessment trough an effective benchmarking process

The position has a direct exposure within the Global Procurement Organisation and will interact with Company engineer community and with all production plants.

Main requirements:

-At least 7 years working experiences in the procurement function (direct or indirect) of international organisation with a direct and significant involvement in commodity activities
-Excellent knowledge of English
-Be able to challenge the status quo and take bold actions to strengthen the overall success of the procurement organization.
-Previous sector experience: Industrial, mechanical/electrical, consumer electronics, brown home-appliances, automotive
The position will be based in center of Italy.

Your Tasks:

  • Creation of a go-to-market strategy in coordination with product management
  • Creation of product descriptions including the elaboration of sales arguments and target groups
  • Creation of product-specific whitepapers, videos, presentations and other sales-related documents
  • Supporting sales by providing training on new products and their functionality
  • Strategic planning and management of outbound activities related to the product, especially marketing and sales programs to increase demand
  • Regular status review with sales and marketing, as well as review of positioning in the various target markets

Whom we are looking for:

  • University degree in computer science/ computer science engineering /math or equivalent or IT technical diploma with experience of agile software development (SCRUM)
  • Experience in the field of RIS and/or PACS applications and in the clinical/medical environment.
  • Preferably experience in product marketing in the healthcare IT industry
  • Customer-oriented work and excellent presentation skills
  • Experience in dealing and communicating with physicians/radiologists and hospital IT staff
  • A high degree of personal responsibility as well as an independent and goal-oriented approach to work
  • Openness and willingness to learn new applications and technologies
  • Ideally, basic knowledge of software development methodology and an agile way of working
  • Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel (30%-50%)

PROCESS ENGINEER

He/she will support the implementation of the new technologies (with a special focus on digital smart manufacturing/Industry 4.0) in our production plant, directly reporting to the Industrial Engineer Manager. The candidate will work in production plant focusing on development of production processes, innovation and optimization of the production organization.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Feasibility: Identify &recommend improvement opportunities and work on implementing improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality and cost requirements.
  • Innovation: Evaluate new technologies and new processes to improve productivity, quality and cost reduction, supporting the team in testing activities, approval criteria and external provider choices. Develop new production processes.
  • Continuous improvement: Promote the continuous improvement of the organization in terms of productivity, adopting the necessary strategies for a correct management of production costs and resources.
  • Project management: Own the responsibility of optimizing processes, constantly interfacing with the different company areas (R&D, purchasing, logistics, production, quality control), guaranteeing the industrialization of all new products, defining the appropriate manufacturing methods and procedures through the study of cycles, times and methods of processing; ensuring the improvement of existing production lines and collaborating with the various functions with a view to reducing costs and production waste.


Your background

  • Master Degree in Engineering: Mechanical, Management, Electrical, Automation & Control;
  • Max 5 years of experience in similar roles;
  • Knowledge of implement new technologies (Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing) in the operation processes;
  • Fluency in English & Italian;
  • Lean Mindset;
  • Intellectual curiosity, Communication skills, Teamwork, Goal oriented;
  • Able to work in a matrix organization. 


Place of work: Toscana (Firenze/Arezzo)
