The Regional Retail Manager is the owner for the overall business in the region, including market share, customer relationship, team management, training and other related market activities.

The Regional Retail Manager is the representative of the brand in the region. He/she needs to build the business connection and relationship with the key accounts, the suppliers and other potential commercial partners to maximize the company brand preference and influence in the region.

What will be your tasks and responsibilities as a retail regional manager:

1) Drive the market share of all product lines: lead the field force team and drive all the resources to push for sell-out and sell-through

What you'll do

 

  • Drive indirect sales revenue by recruiting, onboarding, and managing Systems Integrators, Digital Agencies, eCommerce consultants, and Technology Partners.
  • Partner with Sales to drive lead volume and close deals.
  • Work with Partners to drive joint marketing initiatives through events and other marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with the BigCommerce Enterprise Sales, Product, and Client Success teams (Onboarding and Account Management) to ensure smooth onboarding experiences and servicing processes of acquired merchants using partner integrations via the BigCommerce platform.   
  • Deliver compelling capabilities demonstrations of the BigCommerce platform and address high level technical questions, serving as as subject matter expert around how eCommerce platforms fit within overall digital commerce ecosystems. 
  • Work closely with the GM Europe and Strategic Business Development Director, Europe to project manage our European entry and execute on our strategy.

 

Who You Are

 

  • Someone with a demonstrable network of existing systems integrators and agencies within country
  • Successful Software or SaaS Sales Professional
    • 6+ years software, ecommerce or SaaS sales experience with a focus on consultative solutions selling in a rapidly growing and fast-paced environment
    • 3+ years experience in a quota based Channel Sales
    • Experience working in a Recurring Revenue or SaaS organization
    • Keen understanding of the ecommerce vendor competitive landscape
    • Bachelor's degree, ideally in business or similar field preferred.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects related to European market entry and expansion. Ability to prioritise activities, remain focused on strategic objectives whilst meeting tactical objectives

The Opportunity

Denodo is looking for a smart, experienced, and highly motivated marketer in SEMEA & ME to join the expanding partner marketing team. The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for partner managing marketing efforts with system integration partners to drive pipeline generation and acceleration and ensuring partner/channel sales and marketing goals and targets are met through effective management of timelines, resources, and process.

Duties and Responsibilities

This role is responsible for developing the regional partner marketing strategy to drive brand awareness and generate leads both with and through partners. 

Your goal is to design and execute a regional and scalable partner marketing program, establish efficient working relationships with global marketing teams, and drive effective engagement with key global/regional partners.

Our candidate is a versatile player with skills that help execute the following responsibilities successfully:

Demand/Lead Generation

  • Work with systems integration partners and Denodo’s partner/channel sales managers in the region to develop and execute co-marketing activities including sponsorship of tradeshows/third-party events, Denodo-partner events, workshops/hands on labs, webinars, email campaigns with the intent to generate leads, both with and through partners.
  • Engage partners for end-to-end sponsorship/involvement in Denodo-hosted events such as Denodo user conference, roadshows, and virtual summits (e.g., Denodo DataFest and Denodo Fast Data Strategy).
  • Own and maintain marketing sections within the partner portal.
  • Work with partners to develop jointly branded customer success stories, solution briefs that highlight both the companies’ value proposition from a technology/services perspective.
  • Develop marketing-in-a-box campaigns and deliver them to partner organizations to enable them to build awareness around data virtualization and Denodo, and generate leads.
  • Own, develop, and disseminate partner branding, blog, and press release guidelines.

Denodo is looking for a smart, experienced, and highly motivated marketer in EMEA to join the expanding partner marketing team. The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for partner managing marketing efforts with system integration partners to drive pipeline generation and acceleration and ensuring partner/channel sales and marketing goals and targets are met through effective management of timelines, resources, and process.

Duties and Responsibilities

This role is responsible for developing the regional partner marketing strategy to drive brand awareness and generate leads both with and through partners. 

Your goal is to design and execute a regional and scalable partner marketing program, establish efficient working relationships with global marketing teams, and drive effective engagement with key global/regional partners.

Our candidate is a versatile player with skills that help execute the following responsibilities successfully:

Demand/Lead Generation

  • Work with systems integration partners and Denodo’s partner/channel sales managers in the region to develop and execute co-marketing activities including sponsorship of tradeshows/third-party events, Denodo-partner events, workshops/hands on labs, webinars, email campaigns with the intent to generate leads, both with and through partners.
  • Engage partners for end-to-end sponsorship/involvement in Denodo-hosted events such as Denodo user conference, roadshows, and virtual summits (e.g., Denodo DataFest and Denodo Fast Data Strategy).
  • Own and maintain marketing sections within the partner portal.
  • Work with partners to develop jointly branded customer success stories, solution briefs that highlight both the companies’ value proposition from a technology/services perspective.
  • Develop marketing-in-a-box campaigns and deliver them to partner organizations to enable them to build awareness around data virtualization and Denodo, and generate leads.
  • Own, develop, and disseminate partner branding, blog, and press release guidelines.

Qualifications
  • A/BS degree with minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B partner marketing (with a focus on demand generation) at a software company. MBA preferred.
  • Familiarity with B2B software sales cycle, and how to use partners to nurture leads, progress opportunities, and accelerate closing.
  • Experience organizing marketing campaigns and field marketing events involving partners to generate leads.
  • Proven history of working with the global and regional systems integrators to influence them to conduct marketing campaigns to generate leads through them.
  • Experience creating and reporting on events using Salesforce.com
  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing including search, social and online nurture journeys.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high attention to detail.
  • Native Italian and fluency in written and spoken English required. Very good knowledge of German language is a plus.
  • Hands on attitude and creative use of limited resources.
  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills, passion for work and willing to generate results.
  • Detail oriented with proven ability to drive multiple projects forward cross-functionally. 
  • Good knowledge of Salesforce, marketing automation tools (Marketo or similar) and various Webinar platforms is required.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
+ Designs and implements analytics, performance management reporting, and forecasting for planned and ad-hoc needs
