Responsibilities:
The following are specific duties performed on a daily basis:

  • Provide general research and intelligence to the office (eg. monitoring media, institutional developments, policy and legislative updates)
  • Develop understanding of different client/ industry issues through research and monitoring across a wide range of relevant issues
  • Draft client materials (eg. monitoring, policy and stakeholder mappings, etc.)
  • Actively support new business opportunities by contributing to brainstorms, conducting research, compiling bios and preparing decks
  • Support media relations (eg. drafting press releases, producing media lists)

Requirements & Desired Skills:

  • Degree and/or post-graduate degree in International Relations, Political Science or equivalent;
  • Language skills: proficiency in English and Italian, command of another language is considered a plus;
  • Prior experience working in the European institutions, in-house, consultancy or within a trade association is desirable;
  • Knowledge and interest in public affairs, politics and communication
  • Computer skills: MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel

Our Regional CAM is responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and managing Systems Integrators, Digital Agencies, and eCommerce consultants focused on enterprise e-commerce - existing partners include Wunderman Thompson Commerce, Accenture, Deloitte Digital, EPAM, PFS LiveArea, Born Group, Tacit, Greenlight Commerce and E2X. You will work closely with Sales and Marketing to manage the enterprise channel pipeline and go-to-market activities that bring new clients to the BigCommerce platform. Your passion and success will help enable our mission to democratize commerce and change people's lives through our platform. You will have experience of acquiring, managing and developing partners across multiple European countries with specific knowledge of the French, Benelux, Nordics, German, Italian or Spanish markets being especially useful. 

 

What you'll do

 

  • Drive indirect sales revenue by recruiting, onboarding, and managing Systems Integrators, Digital Agencies, eCommerce consultants, and Technology Partners.
  • Partner with Sales to drive lead volume and close deals.
  • Work with Partners to drive joint marketing initiatives through events and other marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with the BigCommerce Enterprise Sales, Product, and Client Success teams (Onboarding and Account Management) to ensure smooth onboarding experiences and servicing processes of acquired merchants using partner integrations via the BigCommerce platform.   
  • Deliver compelling capabilities demonstrations of the BigCommerce platform and address high level technical questions, serving as as subject matter expert around how eCommerce platforms fit within overall digital commerce ecosystems. 
  • Work closely with the GM Europe and Strategic Business Development Director, Europe to project manage our European entry and execute on our strategy.

 

Who You Are

 

  • Someone with a demonstrable network of existing systems integrators and agencies within country
  • Successful Software or SaaS Sales Professional
    • 6+ years software, ecommerce or SaaS sales experience with a focus on consultative solutions selling in a rapidly growing and fast-paced environment
    • 3+ years experience in a quota based Channel Sales
    • Experience working in a Recurring Revenue or SaaS organization
    • Keen understanding of the ecommerce vendor competitive landscape
    • Bachelor's degree, ideally in business or similar field preferred.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects related to European market entry and expansion. Ability to prioritise activities, remain focused on strategic objectives whilst meeting tactical objectives 
  • Fluent in English and Italian

What you will do:

  • Drive sales revenue through new B2B and B2C client acquisition 
  • Actively manage the sales process, including positioning, presenting and /demoing the product, and closing sales.
  • Act as territory owner and subject matter expert 
  • Full pipeline development through outbound prospecting, assisting channel colleagues to engaging and activate partners as well as inbound leads.

Who you are:

  • 7+ years sales experience, including 3+ years technology sales experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment with a focus consultative solutions selling for a SaaS or eCommerce company.
  • Required - Fluent in Italian and English
  • Talented Seller - You have a demonstrated ability to drive complex sales with all stakeholders, including executive management and technical teams, and have successfully, consistently achieved quotas and objectives within an outbound, client acquisition driven business.
  • Master Influencer - Excellent written/verbal communication and customer relationship skills are critical.
  • Tech Savvy - Strong Internet, email, and electronic document management skills are a must. A basic understanding of HTML, CSS and internet technologies (shopping carts, web hosting, email and online marketing tools) a big plus.

The opportunity:
As a Consultant/Senior Consultant, you will work closely with colleagues at all levels on research, writing, media, and creative problem-solving. You will be involved in day-to-day support of client projects by supervising draft materials prepared from more junior staff (i.e. press releases, Q&A, position papers, etc.), monitoring media, and by conducting and analyzing research on a variety of client-related issues or on business development efforts.

 

You’ll have the opportunity to work across disciplines, including corporate communication, crisis and issues, corporate social responsibility, media relations, stakeholder and KOL engagement, and digital/social media. A specific expertise on Healthcare subjects and a capability to navigate the Healthcare market is required. 

For a Consultant these are typical examples of work:

  • Supporting the implementation of a wide range of strategic communication projects and campaigns for our high-profile, globally recognized clients
  • Supporting the design and implementation of integrated campaigns to position client issues and priorities them upon key audiences that may include elected officials, media, key opinion leaders, consumers and industry stakeholders
  • Creating effective messages and editing high-quality written deliverables, such as briefings, press materials, and social media content often under tight deadlines
  • Owning stakeholders/media relations, fostering relationships with media, drafting talking points, organizing events/webinars/press conferences
  • Monitoring external developments in key client issue areas and flag opportunities for further client engagement
  • Participating in business development activities including writing proposals and developing pitch decks
  • Attending and participating in internal and client meetings, including brainstorming sessions
  • Mentoring and driving the work of interns and more junior staff

For a Senior Consultant these are typical examples of work:

  • Managing portions of large clients projects or small clients projects independently
  • Managing on a macro level the work of more junior colleagues, providing feedback and ensuring the quality of work
  • Completing client deliverables under the supervision of the assigned account manager
  • Supporting the complete approval of proposals, showing strategic thought, scope of work and pricing awareness
  • Maintaining an awareness of macro business issues impacting clients, by conducting and analyzing research on a variety of client related issues.
  • Independently coordinating client meetings and events
  • Maintaining independent contacts with clients without requiring a supervisor support

The ideal candidate for the Consultant level will be / have:

  • Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English
  • Ideally a minimum of 3-5 years of Pr, strategic communications or media experience – agency experience is a plus. Healthcare expertise is required
  • Solid management experience and a proven ability to juggle multiple projects, client initiatives and teams of junior colleagues in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience developing and supporting strategic communications plans (corporate, issues management, internal communications, crisis communications, etc.) within the Healthcare market
  • Able to demonstrate exceptional presentation, writing and analytical skills, including experience writing strategic plans, messaging and press materials and the ability to write both strategically and creatively under tight deadlines
  • Excellent client and interpersonal skills

Job Description

The person we are looking for will be in charge of following projects from their inception to their delivery, leading and helping the development team towards their result. They will be required to have some technical skills and be able to indicate the project's vision by acting as a bridge between the development team and the customer. You will be asked to:

  •  follow a project from the definiton of functional requirements to the delivery
  • approving every customer-facing item (e.g. graphical user interfaces or user welcome emails) taking into account their technical feasibility and customer necessities
  • help the development team clarify business constraints
  • keep an updated project roadmap that has been agreed upon with the customer
  • create and prioritise user stories, making their acceptance criteria clear to the development team

Step1 - Let's get to know each other better

The first step is to have an informal interview, we want to know who you are, what passions you have, what you've been up to and what you'd like to do in the future. At the same time it is a good opportunity to make you understand who we are and what our vision is.

A more technical chat will follow: we will go into details about your working methods and the specific knowledge of the subject for which you are applying.

You Will Make an Impact By:
+ Developing working relationships with senior-level technical management and major CommScope customers to specify CommScope products and facilitate new product development and introduction.
+ Maintaining expertise and market presence in network topology, design, and development. Provide guidance to customers regarding cost-effective and appropriate technology utilizing the breadth of CommScope products.
+ Developing product/sales strategies for advanced network solutions utilizing CommScope RF Products solutions such as Base Station Antennas, TMAs and Combiners and portfolio products.
+ Providing support to engineering and product management teams to facilitate the development of BSA/TMA & Combiner Road Maps & hybrid technologies, support, and track projects.
+ Managing responses to RFP's/RFI's including the generation of required response data, collection of all required inputs from Sales, Engineering, Product Management
+ Managing project opportunities specializing in design, network performance, and cost analysis. Provide system design services to customer base utilizing external resources or internal staffing, as appropriate. Support customer trials and IOTs.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
+ A Bachelor’s Degree preferably in a technical discipline with 5 years of related experience
+ Experience with Base Station Antenna/TMAF and connectivity products desired
+ Able to function independently and exercise judgment in order to react to situations in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

The following are specific duties performed on a daily basis:
