Amazon is looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator to add to the team:
Year-on-year, as we continue to grow, we need to work as smart as we can, to keep all our team members safe, fulfilled, motivated and empowered. To help us achieve this, we’re seeking a driven Health & Safety Coordinator. With your Bias for Action, we’ll need you to step in and help drive health and safety across our Delivery Stations (DS) in Italy.
In this crucial Health and Safety position, you’ll report to the IT Health and Safety Manager.
  • Undertake risk assessments as required and follow up control measures to completion
  • Complete daily metrics and callouts from the sites
  • Take a Deep Dive into safety data, as you monitor recordable incidents on-site,
  • Leveraging your Auditor-level knowledge of Amazon’s procedures and legal requirements, you’ll advise associates and managers accordingly,
  • Become a subject matter expert in your specific level of competence, while staying vigilant and not disclosing any sensitive information outside of your particular level,
  • Consistently monitor sites, keeping high focus on compliance with Amazon’s safety procedures,
  • Investigate accidents, near misses and any incidents, as you establish root cause,
  • Update internal records regarding incidents, near misses and accidents,
  • Undertake action plans to ensure continuing, sustained compliance with legislation,
  • Conduct yourself professionally at all times: you maintain confidentiality in matters involving safety investigations,
  • Flexibility on hours worked to cover shifts during Peak and ensure investigations are completed
  • Support Delivery Stations with safety administrative tools.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have qualification as ASPP and professional trainer
  • Candidates with degree (or equivalent) qualifications not in Safety disciplines, but who have relevant experience, will also be considered
  • Has a demonstrable in-depth understanding of essential/relevant EHS legislation

The role will understand the details of an Amazon Fulfillment Center design, implementation, modeling, equipment and technology. This individual will lead a x-functional project team and provide technical direction during the machine testing activities to develop conceptual design, performance specifications and development of scale-up testing activities to operational readiness. This leader will work in strict collaboration with WW Engineering, EU Engineering, Equipment Vendors, Software Developers and Procurement. The Senior Hardware Application Engineer will drive an invent and simplify strategy, will have high work capacity while being detailed oriented and agile to manage business changes and keep driving the innovations and initiatives. This individual needs to be comfortable interfacing and driving various functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization in order to be successful.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Work with internal Amazon teams and external vendors to deliver innovations, technology development and CAPEX projects to win business:
  • Lead overall end-to-end equipment technology development to move through ideation, development, conceptual design, detail design, testing and on-site implementation.
  • Have proven experience to develop and test mechanical – robotics – logistics – packing equipment working with equipment suppliers, laboratories and manufacturing plants. Specific focus on the testing phase.
  • Conduct multiple weekly standing meetings with internal teams and vendors to plan and track deliverables.
  • Lead technical design reviews and propose design solutions for robotics, autonomous vehicles, auto-packing, material handling and storage solutions that meet both business needs and leverage global design standardization.
  • Lead and influence x-functional teams of technology oriented Engineers and Engineering Contractors.
  • Create, submit and develop design management systems including layouts, Reliability Engineering, Flow Diagram, Process Path and Controls Strategy.
  • Deep dive on technical details and lead problem resolution on a need basis.
  • Communicate project status, drive and elevate decision making and help requests.

Responsabilità

A diretto riporto dell’Amministratore Delegato Italia e rispondendo Funzionalmente al Direttore della BU Detergenza e collaborerà con un team di circa 10 risorse dislocate su scala internazionale.

Le sue principali attività sono:

  • Curare la gestione e lo sviluppo del portafoglio clienti acquisiti perseguendo sia obbiettivi di fatturato che di profittabilità;
  • Partecipare alla negoziazione e alla stesura delle offerte commerciali;
  • Fornire supporto tecnico pre e post-vendita, in collaborazione con il Laboratorio Applicativo;

Il candidato verrà inserito all'interno dell'ufficio progettazione e, in affiancamento al tutor, si occuperà della progettazione tecnica 2D di interni tramite l'utilizzo di AutoCad.


Requisiti richiesti:
- Possesso di diploma o laurea come geometra, architettura e/o titolo equipollente;
- Conoscenza del programma AutoCad 2D
- Preferibile minima esperienza nell'utilizzo della progettazione tramite AutoCad 2D;
- Disponibilità immediata.
