Requisiti

What We Do
The Teradata Base Support team is a 24x7 high volume global support center. Along with incident management, we provide technical/functional knowledge necessary to resolve customer’s problems, both internal and external.
What You’ll Do:
The Product Support Engineer works in a fast-paced, demanding technical customer support center environment that requires timely solutions to complex technical problems, often of a critical nature to the customer. As a Product Support Engineer youwill perform troubleshooting activities, escalate problems to the appropriate party(s), and assist in communicating the solution to the customer. You will develop and maintain a working knowledge of current hardware, software, firmware, processes, and tools. You are required to have both strong technical and interpersonal skills. The work environment requires 24x7 coverage. This position will also be supporting International customers and the ability to speak other languages in addition to English is a plus

Skills and Experiences You’ll Need to Be Successful: (Basic Qualifications)
+ Effective oral and written communications skills.
+ Proficiency in Italian language and English
+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
+ 1-2 years of Technical Support related experience.
+ Basic Database and Operating System knowledge
+ Experience in Help Desk/Customer service position is a plus

Academic Policy Branch intern's responsibilities (01 Sep 2021 - 17 Dec 2021)

Under the NATO Defense College’s Academic Policy and Planning Division (APPD), the Academic Policy Branch (APB) is responsible for the development of academic policies, supporting the execution of those policies and for the assessment and Lessons Learned of all activities at the College. The Branch organizes and executes comprehensive engagements with a range of partners (i.e. Partnership for Peace (PfP); Istanbul Cooperation Initiative (ICI); Euro-Atlantic Partnership Countries (EAPC); Mediterranean Dialogue (MD); Partners across the Globe (PatG); Non-NATO Nations (NNN); International Organizations (IO); Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO); independent researchers and military and non-military professionals). Consequently, APB takes a leading role organizing and/or coordinating comprehensive activities in line with NATO’s strategic partnership framework and assume outreach responsibilities as directed by the Military Committee.

APB consists in the current layout of three Faculty Advisors, of which one serves as the Branch Head, and one assistant.

The selected intern will report to the Branch Head will provide assistance to the organization, administration and execution of the main Outreach Events organized by the APB including, but not only: The International Kyiv Week and the Conference of Commandants. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing and tracking all correspondence pertinent to Outreach Events.
  • Providing office support during sight surveys (participating directly in sight surveys only when and if required).
  • Populating and updating the respective Portals via the Academic Portal.
  • Updating the Academic Portal with essential documentation.
  • Maintaining and updating the APB Area of SharePoint as instructed by Branch Head.
  • Presence during all activities related to Outreach events – either on location or at NDC – as required.
  • Assisting with preparation and maintenance of inputs for the Annual Report, Annual Academic Board preparation and execution (assisting DAPP Assistant for AAB) and redaction of MC123/10.
  • Supporting the APB Faculty Advisors and Assistant in the performance of their duties within the scope of assigned tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Additional requirement:  have strong English language skills both spoken and written.

NATO Defense College is only able to offer internship to people who are at least 21 and under the age of 30 and citizens of a NATO member country.
